Castles

Eilean Donan is my all time favourite castle. I have seen it at least twenty times and each visit never fails to disappoint. I see something new every time, whether that be a sunset or a typical moody sky, you can never tell with the ever changing Scottish weather. One thing is certain, the castles look good against them all. One of my favourite things to do is visit the ones close by. I'm a self confessed castle geek and proud. I've still got a few to visit but I love painting the ones I have been lucky to see. The thing I enjoy most about them is the mystery, it's like being able to go back in time for a short while.
